World War II Connection Events ::: 2010
  Militaria 2010 :: Stoneleigh Park Coventry UK :: January 31st

World War II Connection would like to thank all the organisers and staff at Stoneleigh Park for their efforts in putting on a great Militaria Fair. Most of all we would like to thank the Great British public for their support. They turned out in great numbers on a very cold February morning.

We had a very successful day with great interest in artist Neil Leonard who finished a great pencil sketch of our guest, veteran Don Mcarthur (9th Parachute Battalion) in just under an hour and a half (No one likes a clever dick, Neil....!!).

Our competition for an author signed copy of Neil Barbers 'The Day The Devils Dropped In', had a superb response. The winner was Mr Jon Flint of Stoke on Trent. Congratulations to Mr Flint.

Below are a few pictures of our stand.

  War & Peace 2010 :::: The Hop Farm, Beltring, Kent, England ::: 21st - 25th July

Well it doesn't get much bigger or better than War & Peace. For those that haven't made the journey, believe me you should. This year it was blessed with great weather which brought the crowds out in record numbers.

For the Military Vehicle enthusiasts it really has got to be the greatest show on earth. It is amazing the places on the globe that they come from to exhibit their vehicles.

World War II Connection was lucky enough to have a pitch in The Victory Marquee which hosts free entertainment all day. The acts on stage each day were excellent, all 1940's -1950's style entertainment.

Below are a few pictures of our visit to War & Peace 2010.
